For Our Care Teams
We appreciate the critical role you play in supporting cancer Warriors and navigating complex needs on their behalf.
Due to the volume of national inquiries, we’ve created this page to provide clear guidance on our grant process.
We kindly ask that you review this page prior to reaching out, as it addresses the majority of questions we receive and helps us maintain a fair and efficient process.
We are a very small volunteer team responding to a nationwide need.
Who can submit an application?
Applications must be submitted by:
Social workers
Case managers
Patient navigators
You must be directly employed by a hospital or cancer treatment center.
We are not able to accept applications from third party organizations, nonprofits, or independent patient advocates.
Who is eligible?
To qualify, the Warrior must:
Be in active cancer treatment or within 12 months of completing treatment
Provide official diagnosis documentation from the attending physician
How and when do we apply?
Applications are submitted through our online portal which will populate on our website.
The portal:
Opens on the first business day of each month at 9:00 AM Pacific Time
Typically reaches capacity within minutes
We recommend preparing all required information in advance and submitting immediately when the portal opens.
What information is required?
Please be prepared to submit:
Patient’s full legal name
Mailing address
Phone number and email
Cancer diagnosis and date of diagnosis
Confirmation of treatment status
Area of greatest financial need
PDF diagnosis sheet or official documentation from the physician
Applications cannot be submitted without required documentation.
How are applications reviewed?
Applications are reviewed monthly
Grants are awarded based on available funding
Not all applications can be funded due to national demand
What is the grant amount?
Approved applicants receive $1,000 in unrestricted financial assistance to support everyday living expenses.
What is the timeline for decisions?
Due to the volume of requests we receive nationwide, processing may take up to 90 days.
If a grant is awarded, the care team professional who submitted the application will be notified directly.
Can we check the status of an application?
Due to the number of submissions we receive, we are not able to provide individual status updates.
If additional information is needed, we will reach out directly.
Does outreach impact funding decisions?
No. Reaching out via email or social media does not impact application status or funding decisions.
Maintaining a consistent process ensures fairness for all applicants.
Do you offer phone support?
We are unable to provide phone support.
All communication and submissions are handled online to maintain consistency and manage the scale of need.
